The Pintech EZV2 Drum Module is a fully MIDI capable module and can be used as a trigger to midi device to run most software based drum programs, such as BFD by FXpansion or EZdrummer by Toontrack.  All you need to accomplish running these software based programs with the Pintech EZV2 Drum Module  is a MIDI to USB device, such as those offered by MIDI Solutions.  The MIDI to USB device is a very simple adapter/device that allows you to plug your drum module into a PC through a standard USB jack. Your drum module will then send and receive MIDI information to your computer. This makes the  Pintech EZV2 not just a drum module but an inexpensive multifunctional tool for your home or professional studio.
